India - 'a passage to India'
You could spend a lifetime travelling around the world’s seventh biggest country and it would still hold countless untold mysteries. Slicing a mighty wedge from the high passes of the Himalayas, India spreads southwards across plains that are scoured by mighty rivers, and then onward across deserts, jungles and dusty hills to the endless sweep of the southern plateau and the Western Ghats.
Wilderness and spectacular landscapes are everywhere but India is primarily startling for its swirling, vibrant humanity.

Hyderabad, Darjeeling, Jaisalmer, Trivandrum and old ‘Calcutta’. The world atlas offers more than a few names that still retain that irresistible scent of the mysterious ‘East.’ It is no coincidence that a great many of these names are to be found on the map of India.
