Kenya - 'the pride lands'
The highest concentration of African wildlife is found in East Africa and most safari aficionados will agree that there is probably nowhere in the world that can compare with Kenya as a wildlife destination. With its incredible herds and thriving predators, the Masai Mara has been described quite simply as ‘the greatest wildlife real-estate on earth.’ The Mara remains Kenya’s prime tourism drawcard but there are also the great parks of Tsavo and Amboseli and often overlooked treasures like the unforgettable wildernesses of Laikipia on the north flank of Mount Kenya.

Kenya is also about people. The great Rift Valley carves a swathe through the country and, in the years since man took his first tottering steps out of ‘the cradle of mankind’, a complex history of migrations and invasions has lead to a cultural diversity that can be matched by few places on earth.
